Gift-On is available on the Shopify App Store. To install it:

1. Go to the Shopify App Store and search for "Gift-On" or "Gift Wrap & Options."
2. Click Install on the app listing page.
3. You will be redirected to your Shopify admin to approve the installation. Review the permissions and click Install app.
4. Once installed, Gift-On appears under Apps in your Shopify admin sidebar.

Note: Gift-On works with all Online Store 2.0 themes. If your theme is older, you may need to upgrade it before the app embeds are available in the theme editor.

What Happens After Install

Once you've installed Gift-On, you'll land on the dashboard. On the left, you have your sidebar — Home, Settings, and Pricing. And the Quick Access section on the dashboard panel shows your feature status. Product Level Gifting lets customers wrap individual items in their cart. Order Level Gifting wraps the entire order as one gift. And Messaging lets customers add a personal text or voice message. A green tick means the feature is active, a grey cross means it's off.

The app automatically creates two gift wrap products for you — one for product-level gifting and one for order-level gifting. You do not need to create these manually. A detailed walkthrough of configuring these is available in Creating a Gift Wrap Product and Setting Up Order-Level Gift Wrap.

To configure the gifting options, click Settings on the sidebar or from the Quick Access section.
