Yes. You can exclude specific products from gift wrapping in Product Gifting → Product Exclusions. Excluded products will not show the gift wrap button anywhere.
Yes. Both can be enabled at the same time. Customers can wrap individual items, the entire order, or both. Order-level gifting requires the Pro plan.
Yes. Gift wrap is added as a regular Shopify line item, so discount codes apply normally. However, most stores set discount codes to exclude gift wrap products.
The Free plan includes product-level gifting, cart and product page surfaces, gift message templates, product exclusions ( eg: digital downloads), variants and more. Voice notes are automatically deleted after the retention period you set (default: 30 days). The playback page will show a "Voice Message Expired" message. The written gift message is not affected.
Yes. The Gift-On dashboard shows gift wrap orders with revenue and trend data, including monthly order counts, gift revenue, and a breakdown of per-item vs whole-order gift wraps. You can also see gift wrap details directly in Shopify order details — they appear as line item properties.
Gift-On works with all Online Store 2.0 themes. It auto-detects cart structures for Dawn and Horizon themes. For custom or uncommon themes, you can provide custom CSS selectors in the theme editor under Advanced — Custom Theme settings (cart drawer selector, line item selector, and insert target).
